I just had my interview for a green card at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office in San Bernardino, California. So yeah, I just want to show you our experience and let you know what happened during my interview. First, I'm going to show you guys my timeline from the time I sent my adjustment of status packet until the time I got approved for my green card. I'm just going to list the dates and then we'll go through them. My AOS timeline started in 2018, specifically in September. I sent the packet on September 20, 2018. The case was received on September 26, 2018, and I received a text message confirming the receipt of my adjustment of status application, as well as my concurrently filed employment authorization document (EAD) and travel document (Advance Parole). So, basically, I got three messages at that time. Next, on October 20, 2018, I received a notice of action one in the mail. This was for my biometric appointment, which was scheduled for October 29, 2018. After my biometrics, there was a long wait and I didn't receive any updates after October. Finally, on January 31, 2019, I received a request for evidence (RFE) from USCIS. This means that I failed to submit something in my documents and they needed me to send them.
